Child Seats and Booster Seats
Traveling with children? We rent child seats and booster cushions, so you don't need to bring your own. In Iceland, children who are shorter than 135 cm must use a child seat or booster suited to their height and weight.
Which child seat do I need?
We have three types of child seats. The exact brand and model can vary.

| Booster cushion | Older children, from about 135 cm, using the car's seat belt | From EUR 10 per day |
The price depends on the size of the seat and the length of your rental.
How to book a child seat
- Add the child seat or booster when you book your car. If you didn't book one, you can ask for a seat at our rental desk, but we can't guarantee that the right size is available.
Safety tips
- Never place a rear-facing child seat in a front seat with an active airbag.
- Check that the seat is firmly installed before you drive – it should not move more than a couple of centimeters.
- Make sure the harness or seat belt fits snugly over your child.
