Returning your rental car at SIXT: Anytime, Day or Night

At SIXT, we understand that travel plans don’t always align perfectly with business hours. That's why we offer the flexibility for you to return your rental car at any time, even outside of our regular opening hours.

Whether your flight arrives late at night or you’re simply heading out early in the morning, returning your rental vehicle is easy and stress-free. Here’s how it works:

After-Hours return process

1. Park the Car: When you arrive at our location,simply park the rental car in the designated area on the side of our building. This area is clearly marked, ensuring you won’t have any trouble finding it.

2. Key Drop-Off: Once the car is securely parked,head to the side wall of our building where you’ll find the key drop-off box.All you need to do is place the keys in the box, and your return process is complete.

3. Confirmation: After you’ve dropped off the keys,you’re all set! Our team will process the return the next morning, and you will receive an email confirmation that everything has been taken care of.

Important information about shuttle service

Please note that our shuttle service back to the airport operates only from 5 AM to 6 PM. If you are returning your vehicle outside of these hours, you will need to walk back to the airport, which is a short 5-7 minute walk from our location.

To make the process as smooth as possible, we recommend that you first drive any passengers, along with your luggage, to the airport. This way, only the driver needs to return the car and make the brief walk back.
