Return Station – Walking Route & Shuttle to the Terminal
After returning your car at our return station, it's easy to get to the airport terminal – either on foot (about 6 minutes) or with our shuttle on request.

Walking to the terminal
The terminal is about 500 meters from the return station – a walk of around 6 minutes. Walk down to Kjóavöllur and follow it east, then cross the parking lot in front of the terminal on the marked pedestrian walkway. Follow the orange route on the map below, or open walking directions in Google Maps.
Shuttle to the terminal – on request
- Our free shuttle to the terminal is available on request during the return station's opening hours, 06:00–20:00. Just ask our staff when you return the car.
- The shuttle doesn't run on a fixed timetable. When it's busy at the return station, there may be a wait – if you're in a hurry, walking is often the quickest option.
- Outside opening hours, please walk to the terminal – see Return outside opening hours.
Tip: Drop your passengers and luggage at the terminal first, so only the driver needs to return the car and walk back.
